Back to Serbia & Jersey I went...& Loved It

So this past month I was gone quit a few times...5 Days in Novi Sad, Serbia,1 Day in Texas & ended with 4 Jersey (New Jersey).  I Love Europe and I LOVE SERBIA!!!

To Europe All in the name of Eyelashes

So I have just gotten back from Paris a week ago, and all I can say is Wow. I went to 2 European Countries in June Novi Sad, Serbia & Paris, France.

In Serbia I was teaching (2) 8 hour hands on classes hosted by Alexandar Cosmetics for local Serbian Beauty Pros. I had a wonderful time, Anita was my translator made my time there even more enjoyable because she helped me communicate with everyone. Its amazing how the Love for Eyelashes is really Global. We went over Individual/Band Lashes, Ardell's Brow and Accessories, at the end of the class we had a bit of additional time so I also applied makeup to some of the Alexandar staff from the cosmetic line that they carry in their stores.

Paris was AWESOME it is one of those places you learn about in school and may even have taken the language but to be there was euphoric.

And now less then a week later I am packing my bags for EUROPE! Novi Sad, Serbia to be exact to teach the wonderful world of @Ardell_Lashes. This job is more then just that it is a Passion. So that is why it is important to find out what your Passion in life is because it can become your job. After I get back from Serbia...then I'll be leaving for another wonderful European Country that is To Be Continued...

How to apply Under Lashes

I just got back from working a beauty show with Ardell in Boston and created this Awesome Lash Look using Ardell's NEW Double UP Lashes. I used Lashes 203 & 206...

I recreated this look on my Assistant Zenetta B. and uploaded it on my YouTube Channel: @LashesofJoy which I will add to the bottom of this Post but here is a step by step...

SUPPLIES NEEDED

• Clear Lash Grip or Duo Eyelash Adhesive
• Tweezers
• Hand Sanitizer
• ARDELL Lashes of choice
• Small Manicure Scissors or Stork Shears

STEP BY STEP

1. Sanitize your hands
2. Remove lashes from tray by using your thumb to push the lashes down
3. Prime lash by bending it in the opposite direction that it is curving in
4. Measure lash from corner to corner on the under lash line, If you want EXTRA DRAMA keep the lash longer then the natural under lash line
5. Squeeze a small amount of eyelash adhesive onto the tray then dip the back of your tweezer into the adhesive so you have a small bead of adhesive on it
6. Apply a thin coat of clear eyelash adhesive (it will look white but its ok it will dry clear) on the lash band using the back of the tweezer to spread it across
7. Wave the lashes in the air for a few seconds (DO NOT BLOW...when you blow micro pieces of spit go onto the lash...EWWWWW)
8. Apply the lash up under the model/clients natural lash hairs
9. You have a few minutes to manipulate the lash you can get it very close to the lash line or create a bit of space
10. Hold the lash in place for a min and then repeat the steps for the next eye

I enjoy traveling but even more then that I enjoy feeling like I'm a bit connected with my Mom, whom passed away 11 years ago. She was a Flight Attendant for American Airlines for over 20 years.
